About the Role

Store Executive

Responsibilities

• Receive fabric rolls, bales, trims, and accessories; check quality and ensure correct labeling and storage.
• Maintain fabric inward & outward stock records using Excel or ERP; update daily and conduct regular stock audits.
• Issue fabrics to production/cutting according to requisitions; track processed, and finished fabric stock.
• Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile with system records; report discrepancies.
• Generate GRNs, challans, delivery orders, and maintain necessary documentation.
• Perform basic fabric inspections (GSM, shade, defects, shrinkage) and report damaged or defective materials to merchandising/purchase.
• Coordinate with production and merchandising teams to fulfill fabric requirements on schedule; support shipment readiness.
• Guide store staff/helpers in fabric handling, folding,stacking; ensure store cleanliness and safe storage practices.

Candidate Profile & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fabric store or textile inventory management.
• Proficient in inventory tracking using Excel or ERP.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments (production, merchandiser, purchase).
• Ability to guide helpers and maintain store discipline and safety norms.
