Job Title: Store Executive – Fermentation (Chemistry Background)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Store Executive with Chemistry background who will be responsible for managing, monitoring and controlling all raw materials, chemicals, solvents, and consumables used in fermentation and production activities. Candidate should have basic knowledge of chemicals and their storage norms as per GMP & safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

Maintain proper records of raw materials, chemicals, solvents, media, and consumables required for fermentation.

Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and ensure timely availability of materials.

Conduct regular stock verification & reconciliation.

Material Handling

Ensure proper storage of chemicals and solvents as per MSDS guidelines.

Follow FEFO/FIFO methods for issuing materials.

Handle hazardous chemicals safely with proper labeling & segregation.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain all records as per GMP, GDP, and audit requirements.

Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and maintain logbooks.

Support internal & external audits related to store & inventory.

Coordination

Coordinate with the Purchase department for procurement of fermentation-related raw materials.

Liaise with Production, QA, and R&D for timely issue & return of materials.

Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) norms.

Maintain proper housekeeping and hygiene in storage areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Biochemistry preferred).

2–5 years of experience in Store / Warehouse Management in fermentation, chemical, or pharma industry.

Knowledge of GMP, GDP, MSDS, hazardous chemical handling.

Familiar with ERP / SAP / Inventory Management software.

Good communication, coordination, and record-keeping skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
