Store Associate

Job Title: Store Associate – Construction Company Location: Pondicherry Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are looking for a responsible Store Associate to manage and maintain the construction store materials such as sand, cement, steel, bricks, and other building materials. The candidate will ensure proper handling, storage, and record-keeping of all materials used in our apartment construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and monitor stock of construction materials (sand, cement, steel, bricks, tools, etc.). Issue materials to site engineers/workers as per requirement. Keep accurate records of material receipts and issues. Regularly update stock register and prepare daily/weekly reports. Ensure safe storage, proper stacking, and protection of materials. Coordinate with purchase department for material requirements. Conduct periodic stock verification and inform shortages/damages. Requirements: Minimum qualification: Graduate Prior experience in construction store management is an advantage. Basic knowledge of material handling and stock records.
