Store Assistant/Supervisor /Store in Charge

construction store keeper's responsibilities include:

• Receiving materials: Receiving materials from suppliers and reconciling them with purchase orders
• Storing materials: Stacking, storing, and rotating materials
• Issuing materials: Issuing materials to authorized users in the required quantities
• Maintaining inventory: Ensuring that inventory levels are within the established minimum and maximum levels
• Updating records: Keeping records of receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments
• Managing supplies: Packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies
• Managing supplier relations: Managing supplier relations and databases
• Creating purchase orders: Creating purchase orders and using a purchasing card for low-value procurement activities
• Shipping damaged items: Shipping damaged or canceled items back to suppliers
• Maintaining documentation: Maintaining log books, entry and exit registers, and delivery and dispatch registers
• Ensuring quality: Ensuring the quality and quantity of materials

Store keepers may also be responsible for overseeing the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and minor repairs.

Skills:- Storekeepers typically need a 10+2 certificate or diploma, and skills in customer service, organization, and computer software.
