Job Summary:

The Store and Dispatch Executive is responsible for the efficient handling of inventory and the timely dispatch of goods to customers or internal departments. The role requires close coordination with the procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory management, proper storage, and on-time dispatches, maintaining quality and safety standards.

Roles and Responsibilities: Store Management:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and stock.
  • Maintain proper storage practices and ensure safe stacking of goods.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise alerts for reordering.
  • Update stock in ERP or inventory management system regularly.
  • Perform regular physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.
  • Ensure proper labelling, binning, and segregation of materials.

Dispatch Management:

  • Plan and schedule dispatches based on sales/production requirements.
  • Prepare delivery challans, invoices, and necessary shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners for on-time dispatch and delivery.
  • Ensure correct packaging and labeling of products for dispatch.
  • Track dispatches and maintain proof of delivery (POD) records.

Coordination and Reporting:

  • Communicate with sales, production, and logistics teams to align dispatch timelines.
  • Report daily stock movements, shortages, and discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain records of goods received and dispatched in compliance with company policy.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control systems and standard operating procedures.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and cleanliness in the store area.
  • Follow company policies regarding material handling and dispatch procedures.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance requirements.

Requirements: Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or dispatch operations.
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of inventory control methods and dispatch procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
