Job Description

As a Storage & Backup Administrator at Amdocs, your role will involve managing all centralized storage technologies, Backup Infrastructure, and backup technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Perform all procurement and contracting activities, including pre-qualification of suppliers, tender management, negotiation, and closure of contracts to obtain optimal total cost of ownership. - Work closely with all Amdocs units to understand their procurement needs. - Develop expert knowledge in the relevant procurement category center and implement the global category strategy and guidelines. - Stay updated on global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations. - Identify cost reduction opportunities to meet financial goals. - Conduct due diligence on potential new suppliers and pre-qualify them. - Lead supplier selection processes and conclude appropriate legal Procurement agreements. - Provide periodic reporting on Procurement activities and savings to management. - Place purchase orders with suppliers and manage the entire P2P process. - Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify areas of improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Technologies with 3-7 years of procurement expertise. - Ability to execute and achieve the procurement strategy within the relevant location. - Experience in making technical and commercial offers for procurements and services. - Leading day-to-day procurement activities at a tactical level. - Handling domain topics with vendors, including managing the quality of deliverables. - Experience in leading contract processes. - Excellent negotiation skills, systematic approach, and strong networks. - Deep knowledge of internal and external relationships. - Ability to devise key buying criteria for products and services in consultation with technical, services, and legal teams. In this role, you will have the responsibility to cover two levels of Local Buyers and their team leaders, ensuring alignment with Amdocs guidelines and creating buying strategies for relevant locations.
