Job Summary:

The Steward is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, dining areas, utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment. They assist in maintaining a clean and organized back-of-house environment to support smooth kitchen and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, and dishes.

• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.

• Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste following hygiene standards.

• Clean and maintain floors, walls, and surfaces in the kitchen and dishwashing area.

• Support chefs and kitchen staff by providing clean cooking tools and equipment on time.

• Handle and store cleaning chemicals properly and safely.

• Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies when required.

• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.

• Report any damage or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.

• Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
