Steward

Job Summary:

We are looking for a courteous, energetic, and responsible Steward to join our service team. The Steward will be responsible for serving food and beverages to guests, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and ensuring excellent guest service in a friendly and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and assist them with seating when required
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and pass them to the kitchen/bar
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, as per service standards
• Clear and reset tables promptly after guest departure
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, service stations, and pantry
• Assist in setting up tables, arranging cutlery, crockery, and napkins
• Refill water and respond to guest needs during service
• Follow instructions from the Restaurant Captain or Supervisor
• Assist in basic side duties such as polishing cutlery or cleaning service areas
• Follow hygiene and grooming standards strictly

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience in restaurant service (freshers can apply)
• Good communication skills (Hindi required; basic English is a plus)
• Pleasant personality, polite, and guest-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow
• Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift trays

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10th / 12th Pass
• Diploma in Hotel Management or F&B Service (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience in casual dining, café, or QSR is a plus

Work Schedule:

• Rotational shifts (Lunch / Dinner)
• Availability on weekends and holidays is required
