Role Overview: As a steward, your main responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and food preparation areas. This includes washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, which involves cleaning floors, walls, and equipment, as well as proper disposal of trash and recycling. Key Responsibilities: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand - Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas - Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition - Sweep and scrub floors - Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers - Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas - Clean garbage cans with water or steam - Maintain and stock cleaning supplies - Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures - Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager - Complete safety training and certifications Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to stand for long periods - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work as part of a team,
