Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze engineering drawings, CAD designs, and weld symbols to determine project specifications and material requirements.
Cutting & Shaping: Use plasma cutters, torches, and saws to cut steel according to precise measurements.
Assembly & Fitting: Align and secure parts and assemblies using jigs, clamps, and bolts before permanent welding.
Welding: Perform high-quality welds using MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) techniques to ensure structural integrity.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, measure dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and ensure they meet industry standards (e.g., AWS or ISO).
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on fabrication machinery like press brakes, rollers, and ironworkers.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

Welding Proficiency: Expertise in MIG/TIG/Arc welding; ability to pass a weld test is typically mandatory.
Math Skills: Strong understanding of geometry and algebra for calculating angles, tolerances, and material layouts.
Machine Operation: Experience with CNC machines, hydraulic presses, and overhead cranes.
Layout & Marking: Ability to accurately scribe and mark cutting lines on raw material to minimize waste.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
