Description
As a Statistical Programmer, your role involves performing, planning, coordinating, and implementing various tasks for complex studies. This includes programming, testing, and documenting statistical programs for creating statistical tables, figures, and listings. Additionally, you will be responsible for programming analysis datasets and transfer files for both internal and external clients. Ensuring programming quality control checks for source data and reporting data issues periodically is also a key part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret project level requirements and develop programming specifications for complex studies - Provide advanced technical expertise to internal and external clients and bring project solutions independently to SP teams - Act as a technical team lead for single complex studies or a group of studies - Communicate directly with internal and client statisticians and clinical team members to ensure understanding of requirements and project timelines - Estimate programming scope of work, manage resource assignments, communicate project status, and negotiate project timelines for deliverables - Promote the use of established standards, SOPs, and best practices - Provide training and mentoring to SP team members and Statistical Programming department staff Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Maths, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in Maths, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience preferred - 7+ years of prior relevant experience - Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in lieu of a degree - Advanced knowledge of statistics, programming, and clinical drug development process - Proficiency in computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro Language - Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Aptitude for mathematical calculations and problem-solving - Advanced knowledge of relevant Data Standards such as CDISC, ADaM, and SDTM - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
