Statistical Programmer

As a Statistical Programmer at ProPharma, your role involves providing statistical programming and validation for life sciences-related projects, including clinical trial datasets and tables, listings, and figures. You will access and convert data to SAS datasets and other file types from database management systems and PC file formats. Collaborating with external vendors to develop and monitor the content and structure of SAS datasets and other files is also part of your responsibilities. Working closely with statisticians and other statistical programmers, you will generate and validate outputs to ensure accuracy and the quality of statistical programming algorithms. Additionally, you will provide input to specifications of tabulation and analysis datasets, validation plans, and other related documents. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Provide statistical programming and validation for life sciences-related projects - Access and convert data to SAS datasets and other file types - Collaborate with external vendors to develop and monitor content and structure of datasets - Work closely with statisticians and other programmers to ensure accuracy of outputs - Provide input to specifications of datasets and validation plans Qualifications Required: - In-depth knowledge of statistical programming - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and with external partners - Ability to program in SAS and/or R preferred As for educational requirements, a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline is necessary. Alternatively, a combination of other education with 1+ years of relevant work experience is also accepted. Experience with CDISC data structures, such as SDTM and ADaM, is required for this role.
