The ideal candidate for the position of State Head should have at least 5 years of experience in Business Development. As the State Head, you will be responsible for setting up and leading a team of marketing professionals. Your primary role will involve overseeing the business activities of your team, including educating, updating, and establishing sales protocols for the sales team. You will also be responsible for monitoring and following up on daily call lists for each team member, ensuring the overall success of the team's business activities. In addition to managing your team, you will be required to coordinate regional sales functions, develop sales strategies for electrical & electronic goods, and identify new customer opportunities. You will also be responsible for managing sales budgets, developing marketing plans, and overseeing public affairs and communications efforts. Your role will involve formulating manpower plans, training the field force, and working towards achieving sales targets. The successful candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to motivate teams to achieve quality results within deadlines. You should be adept at coordinating and facilitating group meetings, demonstrating initiative, and exhibiting strong negotiation skills. Additionally, you should have a customer-centric approach, a creative mindset, and the ability to make informed decisions based on analytical insights. Candidates with experience in B2B sales, dealing with dealers and distributors, will be preferred for this role.
