Staff/Principal Mask Design and Tapeout Solution Engineer

As a Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you play a crucial role in the Mask Design & Tapeout Solutions team dedicated to enhancing NAND Memory Design through Custom Layout Design and Tapeout Management. **Role Overview:** In this position, you will be responsible for driving yield improvements, developing new processes, and employing innovative Layout Design techniques to mitigate reliability issues. Your expertise as a Mask Design Engineer will be crucial in applying DFM, Process Input, and Fab Feedback within multi-functional teams. Additionally, you will oversee the Design Library, manage all Design Revisions, mentor new Engineers, and assist partner teams with Design Debug. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, Implement, and Drive Layout edits for development, yield improvement, quality, and process enablement - Run DFM Flows, collaborate with Design & Technology Development, and implement solutions - Build, Validate, and Handle New Design Libraries and Final archives - Lead Tapeout order paperwork and Coordinate with Partner Teams to align needs, expectations, priorities, and resources **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of experience in Layout Design/Design Library Management & Tapeout Solutions - Self-motivated with a Growth Mindset - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong multitasking, organizational, and project management skills - Knowledge of Semiconductor Processing, Semiconductor Physics, and VLSI techniques - Strong communication skills in written and spoken English - Exposure to EDA Tools Micron Technology is a pioneer in memory and storage solutions, revolutionizing how information enriches lives globally.
