Staff Web Enablement Engineer

As a Staff Engineer at Addepar, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience and developer experience. Working within a dynamic team, your focus will be on the intersection of design systems and their implementation in the largest UI codebase. Your expertise in web frameworks, web native APIs, and collaboration with design partners will be instrumental in elevating the quality of UX. You will have the opportunity to automate processes, communicate effectively, and share your knowledge to drive innovation within the company. Your responsibilities will include implementing new user experiences in Addepar's products, mentoring team members to enhance their delivery efficiency, and becoming an expert in Addepar's web component design system. You will work with a variety of tools and technologies such as Figma, Storybook, Tailwind, Ember, Stencil, Svelte, React, and CI/testing systems to build a global product and team. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience as a professional software engineer. A strong grasp of web fundamentals including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and HTTP is essential. Attention to detail, a passion for quality user experiences, and a willingness to adapt to new technologies are key attributes we are looking for. While experience with Ember, Stencil, TailwindCSS, and Web Components is preferred, it is not mandatory.
