What we need: The software team is seeking a Staff SW Engineer who is technically savvy and is excited about working within a SoC development team to produce customer facing software to enable our customers. This position involves a wide range of challenges from interfacing with IC and firmware designers to working with marketing to present the IC products in intuitive ways. What You ll do: Develop, test, and maintain software that meets the needs of both customers and internal teams Work with diverse groups including customers, application engineers, hardware, and firmware engineers Contribute to both existing and new projects, covering a broad range of languages and scope. We use Java, Kotlin, JavaFx, Typescript. Qualifications Skills You ll Need: Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or computer engineering 8-12 years of experience in software development required. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy. Good understanding and coding skills in Java. Python skills are good to have. Good hands on in any UI frameworks like JavaFx, JavaScript or typescript. Executes creative software solutions, design, development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Strong understanding of Software Architecture and Design principles, Behavior-Driven Development and unit testing approaches Experience with basic electronics, microcontroller programming and bus communications strongly preferred Experience in DevOps including JIRA, Confluence and GitLab preferred Must have highly developed written and verbal cross-functional communication skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
