As a member of the Product Security team at Zendesk, you will be part of a globally distributed team of passionate application security specialists. Your role will involve understanding how to build applications securely and implementing creative approaches to scale security through automation, education, and secure design. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and build processes and tools to make secure decisions for customers and embed security into products - Partner with engineers to prioritize security throughout the software development lifecycle - Provide tools and programs for engineers, including bug bounty program, Security Champions program, security reviews, testing tooling, and vulnerability management - Focus on secure by design approach to product security reviews and building new security tooling Qualifications Required: - At least 9+ years of commercial software engineering experience as a Fullstack engineer - Proficiency in frontend and backend development using React and JavaScript/NodeJS/Typescript - Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, build pipelines, package managers, CLI tooling - Knowledge of mono-repo patterns, frameworks, and tooling - Experience building integrations in Salesforce development environment or with Salesforce APIs - Experience integrating with popular SaaS products such as Jira, Slack, Shopify, Microsoft Teams In this hybrid role at Zendesk, you will be required to work remotely and on-site, with 3 days in the office and relocation to Pune. You will collaborate with a high-performing team to build distributed, high-scale integrations that extend the core SaaS product. Your work will involve managing time effectively, ensuring solutions meet future needs, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders. Zendesk's tech stack includes Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Redux, React Testing Library, Cypress, Jest, AWS, Spinnaker, Kubernetes, Aurora/MySQL, DynamoDB, and S3.
