Staff Engineer Software IoT

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute as part of an

  agile product team

  to design, build, secure, enhance, upgrade, and support the IoT platform and related customer solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners and program managers to

  manage backlogs, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

  .
• Translate epics, user stories, and features into actionable tasks during

  sprint planning

  .
• Develop scalable solutions and services using the

  right technology stack

  , contributing to

  shared platforms, libraries, and frameworks

  .
• Evaluate and adopt

  new technologies

  , while maintaining vendor and partner relationships.
• Perform

  functional and non-functional testing

  , troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure solution robustness.
• Deploy applications across environments in coordination with development and delivery teams.

  through unit testing, integration testing, and peer reviews.
• Refactor, update, and enhance existing applications with new features.
  
• Create and maintain

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science, Computer Engineering

  , or equivalent.

• 6+ years

  of experience solving technical problems in three or more areas:
• ThingWorx application platform development & management
  
• Web application development
  
• Unix/Linux environment management
  
• Cloud-based CI/CD and environment management
  
• Microservices design & development
  
• Large-scale distributed systems
  
• Software security
  
• Big data processing & analysis
  

• 3+ years

  designing and managing

  cloud-based software solutions

  .

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  Agile methodologies

  and SDLC.
• Proven ability to

  influence technical decisions

  across teams.
• Real-world experience with

  PTC ThingWorx

  in medical device contexts and

  ERP integration

  (preferred).
• GxP software experience and exposure to

  regulated medical device environments

  .
