Staff Software Engineer (AI Team)

You will play a key role in innovative new AI projects for Qualifacts as a Full Stack Software Engineer on the AI Team. Working within an agile team, you will be involved in developing new products that have the potential to reach over 125,000 behavioral health clinicians and millions of patients. The focus will be on building AI products from scratch to complement Qualifacts" existing platforms. We are seeking a front-end oriented full stack developer with expertise in ES6 and React/Angular or similar technologies. Since we are starting with a new product, you will have a significant say in determining our tech stack. Your responsibilities will include participating in designing and developing technical solutions to enhance complex web-based EHR systems, writing efficient and high-quality code, conducting thorough testing to ensure minimal bugs, contributing new ideas and feedback to the team, assisting in architecting scalable solutions, troubleshooting software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, following Agile/Scrum methodologies, and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to contribute to process improvement. General qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience as a full stack developer focusing on web applications, end-user applications, and back-end services. You should be customer-focused, have a strong sense of priority and urgency, be committed to engineering best practices, possess self-learning and problems solving skills, and demonstrate accountability and ownership. In terms of technical skills, you should have experience with ES6, React, Angular, or similar technologies, strong computer science fundamentals, past experience in software development, a good understanding of test-driven development, a strong work ethic, motivation to learn and improve, familiarity with Django, OpenAI, and/or other LLMs, and knowledge of web networking including HTTP.
