Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Nurse at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, located in Kochi. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and supporting various medical procedures. The role also involves working collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients’ families to ensure effective care. Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to safety and hygiene standards are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in patient care, including assessing, monitoring, and addressing patient needs
• Experience in administering medications and assisting with medical procedures
• Strong knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and medical teams
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
• Registered Nursing certification and relevant licensing
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a multi-specialty or critical care setup is an advantage
