Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring adherence to medical protocols, and maintaining patient safety. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the candidate will also be involved in training, mentoring, and educating nursing students, junior staff, and interns to enhance clinical skills and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist doctors in medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and charts.
• Ensure infection control practices and maintain hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, specialists, and allied healthcare staff for patient treatment and recovery.
• Educate patients and families about post-care instructions and health management.

Teaching & Training Duties:

• Conduct theory and practical sessions for nursing students, trainee nurses, and junior staff.
• Demonstrate nursing techniques, clinical procedures, and patient care practices.
• Guide students during clinical postings, ward rounds, and case discussions.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment materials.
• Mentor and evaluate students’ performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance nursing knowledge and skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. Nursing (with valid nursing registration).
• Proven experience as a Staff Nurse (minimum 2–3 years in clinical practice).
• Prior teaching/training experience in a nursing college, hospital, or healthcare institute.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
