Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse at our facility in Bangalore or Kochi, you will be responsible for observing and assessing the health of our clients. Your main duties will include monitoring vitals, reactions to medications, and changes in behavior and condition. You will report directly to the client's physician and family, especially concerning new medical conditions or worsening health. Additionally, you may need to administer treatments and provide medical and personal care to individuals who are chronically ill, disabled, or suffering from cognitive impairments. This includes assistance with tasks such as bathing, grooming, and eating. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for nursing care and providing individual attention. - Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in our 24-hour service facility. - Ensuring the medical and emotional well-being of patients. - Providing companionship to homebound patients to counteract feelings of depression and isolation. - Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions. - Assessing and planning nursing care requirements. - Providing pre- and post-operation care, tracheotomy care, NG tube feeding, etc. - Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures. - Maintaining accurate records. **Key skills for nurses:** - Good health and fitness. - Caring and compassionate nature. - Excellent teamwork and people skills. - Observational skills. - Ability to use initiative. - Ability to handle emotionally charged and pressured situations. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Resilience and stamina. **Qualification Required:** - BSc-Nursing / GNM / ANM. - Minimum 3-6 years of experience with at least one year in ICU critical care.
