Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Care

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
• Assist with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding when required.

2. Clinical Duties

• Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as prescribed.
• Perform wound care, catheterization, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures.
• Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and nursing notes.
• Report changes in patient conditions to physicians and supervisors promptly.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Follow infection control policies, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols.
• Ensure proper use of medical equipment and report malfunctions.

5. Patient & Family Communication

• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
• Provide emotional support and promote patient comfort and well-being.

6. Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with the healthcare team for patient care planning.
• Participate in nursing rounds, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
