Staff Nurse - OT

As a Staff Nurse in the Operating Theatre (OT) department at Matria Hospital, located in Kozhikode, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of the OT for surgeries. You will play a crucial role in providing perioperative care to patients, assisting surgeons during procedures, and maintaining sterile conditions to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients. Your duties will include preparing the OT for surgeries, monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and providing postoperative care and support to patients and their families. It is essential to have experience and skills in perioperative care and surgical assistance, along with a good understanding of sterile techniques and OT protocols. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with patients, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals. Being able to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and providing compassionate care to patients will be key to your success in this position. If you have relevant nursing qualifications, current licensure, and prior experience in a maternity or birthing center, it will be considered a plus.
