Staff Nurse (ICU)

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in order to maintain or improve their health status. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assessing and reporting physiological, pathological, and psychological signs and symptoms of patients. - Admitting, transferring, and discharging patients. - Maintaining the highest possible standard of patient care. - Accompanying attending doctors on rounds and implementing necessary treatments. - Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients. - Performing technical tasks such as administering medications and assisting in diagnostic and curative procedures. - Providing personal hygiene care, dressing wounds, and performing eye and ear care. - Collecting and sending specimens to the Pathology department. - Observing changes in patient's condition, taking necessary actions, and reporting to the appropriate authority. - Providing psychological support and addressing the nutritional needs of patients. - Participating in clinical teaching and in-service education programs. Qualifications required for this role include: - Degree in Nursing or relevant field. - Valid nursing license. - Previous experience in clinical nursing. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
