Staff Memory Circuit Design Engineer

As a design engineer in the Central Engineering Group, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for developing foundation IP for AI products. This includes memory compilers, logic cells, and custom macros on cutting-edge process technology. We have open positions at all experience levels. Key Responsibilities: - Design and construct memory or circuit blocks at the gate or transistor level - Conduct simulations and analysis of circuit designs using transistor level simulators - Extract layouts and perform post-layout simulations and verifications - Implement physical floorplans and integrate design components - Integrate characterization flow to derive timing and power information - Develop automation scripts for characterization flow, simulations, and verifications - Specify and validate various behavioral and physical memory models - Document design specifications, behavioral descriptions, and timing diagrams - Assist in specifying silicon test plans and correlating silicon to simulation data Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of transistor level circuit behavior and device physics - Familiarity with signal integrity analysis, EM/IR analysis, and reliability analysis - Proficient in running simulators, writing automation scripts, and using tools - Knowledge of memory behavioral and physical models is advantageous - Expertise in memory circuit design is a plus - Understanding of DFT schemes and chip level integration is beneficial - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Motivated, self-driven, and adept at multitasking - Enthusiastic about solving complex problems and eager to learn This company values innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in engineering.
