Staff Integration and DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Staff Integration and DevOps Engineer to join Procore's Data, Technology & Security (DTS) team. In this role, you will need expertise in Java, Microservice architecture, APIs, and middleware tools such as Camunda, Workato, and MuleSoft to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable integrations. You will also be responsible for implementing DevOps practices for automated build, test, and deployment processes. As a Staff Integration and DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with Salesforce, ERP, and Billing systems teams on a daily basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager, we are looking for an immediate addition to our team. Your responsibilities will include working with cross-functional teams to build integrations with Salesforce and third-party systems, analyzing integration requirements, participating in code reviews, optimizing performance, and designing CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Java, Camunda, middleware platforms, and DevOps practices is highly preferred. We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of experience in Application Development and DevOps, a strong understanding of APIs, proficiency in Java J2EE, and experience with middleware platforms like Camunda and MuleSoft. Familiarity with DevOps tools, version control systems, cloud computing, and security is essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI is required. Ideal candidates will have expertise in cloud computing, scripting, automation, CI/CD, and security. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for packaging and deploying applications is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary for this role. Applicants should hold an engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience.
