Staff Engineer, System Infrastructure

As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of performance and security in collaboration with the infrastructure team. Your leadership and open communication skills will be crucial in working closely with other IT team members to promote optimal teamwork and performance. You will implement processes to maintain a stable environment and liaise with various vendors for prompt support and issue resolution. Your role will involve overseeing the research, evaluation, and integration of innovative technologies and approaches, as well as establishing and maintaining relations with vendors. Key Responsibilities: - Manage On-Premise and Cloud-Based Virtualization Services - Oversee Hardware Infrastructure Management - Lead Network and Security Remediation efforts - Handle Reporting and Classification tasks - Implement Hardware and Platform Patching procedures - Monitor and respond to incidents effectively Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, focusing on security and patch management - Expertise in identifying, classifying vulnerabilities, and reporting - Hands-on experience with network security, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools - Familiarity with patch management tools such as WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, or equivalent - Proficiency in asset management In addition, Desired Qualifications include: - Extensive knowledge of IP networking, including design, IP addressing, DNS, routing, switching, VLANs, etc. - Experience and competencies in IT cybersecurity protection and best practices - Strong knowledge of operating systems like Windows, Linux, macOS, and enterprise software solutions - Proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS benchmarks - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are considered a plus.,
