Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Development Engineer with background in database management to join our team at Western Digital. In this role, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our digital twin platform and database infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

Design and implement efficient data pipelines to enable seamless information flow within the digital twin platform, including simulators and storage systems.
Establish database linkages across platforms, optimizing data structures for scalability and performance to manage large data volumes effectively.
Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process raw data into analysis-ready formats..
Leverage machine learning and data analytics techniques to optimize the design and manufacturing process, develop design recommendation systems, identify anomalies, and support failure analysis.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

MS Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative/engineering field plus >3 years of relevant industrial experience
