Staff Engineer

Role Overview: As a Staff Software Engineer at Infoblox, you will have the opportunity to join the SaaS Next-Gen Platform team in Bangalore and Pune. Reporting to the director of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering the core foundation for all Infoblox applications using the latest technology. Your role will involve designing and implementing cloud networking solutions and collaborating with a team of technical experts and thought leaders. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement new Infoblox product initiatives involving SD-WAN/SASE platforms integration using IPsec and cloud VPN technologies - Build and optimize cloud-native services in Golang to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance - Lead design discussions and RFCs across Engineering, Product, and Security teams to align on integration approaches - Collaborate with Product management to translate requirements into technical designs and deliverables - Deliver high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and guide engineers through technical discussions - Stay updated on key trends in cloud platforms and networking solutions - Take ownership of key back-end components of the platform - Develop REST and gRPC APIs and contribute to the overall API framework Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of expertise in networking technologies such as IPsec, cloud VPNs, SD-WAN, and SASE integration - Strong programming background in Golang and experience in designing and building distributed systems - Hands-on experience in deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting services on Kubernetes in production environments - Ability to design secure, resilient, and high-performance integrations between network and application services - Excellent technical leadership skills, including mentoring engineers, leading design reviews, and driving cross-team collaboration - Knowledge of system architecture, design patterns, API design, and development principles - Understanding of concurrency patterns and experience with Goroutines and channels - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering required; master's degree preferred Additional Details: Infoblox has a culture that thrives on inclusion, rewarding bold ideas, curiosity, and creativity.
