Your Team, Your Impact: The FC target driver team is committed to delivering top-tier, high-quality drivers for Marvell FC HBA. Working closely with customers, the team integrates Fibre Channel HBA features into the driver and ensures the code's continuous maintenance. What You Can Expect: Joining this role entails designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux device drivers for high-performance Fibre Channel adapters supporting FCP and NVMe protocols. You will be involved in all development phases, including architecture, requirements, design, coding, unit testing, benchmarking, and support. Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and internal test teams to resolve issues during unit and integration testing. Contribute actively to the Linux upstream community and collaborate with OS distro vendors like RedHat and SUSE. Ensure that our solutions meet OEM qualification criteria and provide necessary support to customers. Availability to coordinate with team members globally and work at customer sites when necessary. Occasional business-related travel may be required to participate in architecture, design, and requirement discussions in various locations. What We're Looking For: Candidates should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field. They should possess 6 to 10 years of device driver experience on operating systems, preferably Linux, and have a strong background in OS internals and storage stack, particularly in Linux. Proficiency in SCSI, Storage Protocols, and Technologies is essential. Experience with Fibre Channel Protocol, NVMe, and SPDK will be advantageous. Troubleshooting OS and device driver problems using various tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, adapt to new requirements and solutions based on industry needs, and collaborate effectively in a team environment spanning across different locations.
