Staff Engineer - Firmware

Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux device drivers for high-performance Fibre Channel adapters supporting FCP and NVMe protocols. - Engaging in all development stages such as architecture, design, coding, unit testing, benchmarking, and support. - Collaborating with Hardware, Firmware, and internal test teams to address issues during unit and integration testing. - Actively contributing to the Linux upstream community and working with OS distro vendors like RedHat and SUSE. - Ensuring solutions meet OEM qualification criteria, providing customer support, coordinating with global team members, being available for on-site customer work, and occasional business-related travel. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field. - 6 to 10 years of experience in device driver development on operating systems, particularly Linux. - Strong background in OS internals and the storage stack, especially on Linux. - Knowledge of SCSI, Storage Protocols and Technologies, Fibre Channel Protocol, NVMe, and SPDK is advantageous. - Ability to troubleshoot OS and device driver issues, effective communication skills, adaptability to new requirements, and collaboration within team environments are essential.,
