Staff Engineer - Database Architecture

As a Staff Engineer (SE) at our dynamic engineering team in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Backend applications using Java and Golang. Your expertise and experience will be crucial in delivering exceptional user experiences. Ideally, you have a background in product-based or e-commerce platforms, ensuring you bring valuable insights to our projects. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing database architectures that align with business requirements, analyzing and optimizing database structures, and performing data migration and integration tasks. Ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards will be a top priority. Collaborating with application developers, conducting regular database backups, and staying updated on the latest database technologies are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will mentor junior database engineers and guide them on best practices. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) along with proven experience as a Database Architect. Your strong proficiency in database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases is essential. Knowledge of database design, data modeling, ETL processes, cloud database solutions, and database performance tuning is crucial. Understanding data security regulations, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities are also required. Experience with big data technologies, data warehousing concepts, and familiarity with DevOps practices will be advantageous.,
