Description
As a Data Analyst at Emerson, you will directly support the Marketing teams by leveraging tools, technology, & processes to provide data-driven solutions, high-quality dashboards, and ad-hoc insights for decision-making and action, while collaborating with key functions including IT, Finance, Data Office, & Business Units. Your role will involve developing foundational datasets and ensuring the data infrastructure supports robust analytical capabilities. You must be able to effectively communicate findings to both business and technical audiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build effective partnerships with key business collaborators across Global Sales & Marketing, Operations, and IT - Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to evaluate, identify, and implement actionable business performance measures - Leverage modern tools and cloud infrastructure to develop scalable data sets for business/operational reporting and analysis needs - Develop optimized insight solutions, design, develop, and test data, reporting, and analytics solutions - Create and maintain dashboards to measure and monitor business performance - Perform data engineering tasks on an enterprise data platform - Write complex queries for data profiling, cleaning, extraction, transformation, and merging - Prepare, document, and communicate insights effectively - Propose creative ideas to apply analytics to business problems **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, MIS, Business, or related fields - 2+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, and data transformation - High proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools like Salesforce Analytics, PowerBI, and Tableau - Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases - Understanding and experience in analytical concepts and statistical techniques - Ability to manage workflow, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills As a Data Analyst at Emerson, you will have the opportunity to work in a workplace that values every employee, fosters innovation, collaboration, and diverse perspectives.
