We have a Job Opening for SSE - JIRA SRE in Banking Based Product Company at Bangalore & Chennai.

Requirement Details:

• Location

  : Bangalore & Chennai

• Designation:

  Specialist Software Engineer - JIRA SRE

• Experience: 5 to 8 Years
• Expected Notice Period

  : Immediate to 30 days

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the JIRA platform, including project configuration, user management, and permission settings.
• Implement and manage JIRA workflows, issue types, and custom fields to align with business processes.
• Provide backend support for JIRA, including troubleshooting and resolving performance issues.
• Manage JIRA integrations with other tools and systems, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for JIRA configurations, processes, and user guides.
• Monitor JIRA system performance and implement optimizations as necessary.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for users to enhance their understanding of JIRA functionalities.
• Stay updated with JIRA upgrades and new features, and recommend enhancements to improve user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a JIRA Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with JIRA plugins and customization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other Atlassian tools (Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
