Junior Site Reliability Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and support cloud production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Storage.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Cloud Monitoring and Stackdriver, and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Analyze system performance metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network) to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Participate in incident management and troubleshooting of production systems in a live environment.

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Strong scripting skills using Python or Bash
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools
• Experience with system monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver, etc.)
• Good understanding of networking, system performance, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation
