About the Role

Edugreed is hiring a passionate Social Science Teacher to teach History, Geography, and Civics for Classes 6–8 across CBSE, ICSE, and GSEB boards. We are looking for someone who can make learning engaging, impactful, and student-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Teach Social Science (History, Geography, Civics) as per CBSE, ICSE & GSEB curriculum.
• Design and deliver effective lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
• Use interactive teaching methods to improve student engagement.
• Track and evaluate student performance with timely feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Arts (History/Geography/Political Science or related).
• B.Ed. preferred/mandatory as per board norms.
• Prior teaching experience with middle school students (6–8) preferred.

Skills

• Strong subject knowledge (History, Geography, Civics).
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt to multiple boards (CBSE, ICSE, GSEB).
• Comfortable using digital teaching tools.
