SS & Aluminium Welder

Overview
We are seeking a skilled SS & Aluminium Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating and welding stainless steel and aluminum components for various construction and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive welding experience, including MIG, TIG, and FCAW processes, along with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and fabrication techniques. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced welding skills and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality metal assemblies in compliance with industry standards.

Duties

• Perform welding operations on stainless steel and aluminum using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and other welding techniques, adhering to blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine weld specifications and fabrication requirements
• Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal components
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools to ensure accurate dimensions in fabrication processes
• Execute sheet metal work, pipe threading, rigging, assembly, and ductwork fabrication as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to construction site work and manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving mechanical knowledge, machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and assembly tasks
• Assist with the setup of welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation during production

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing settings with a focus on welding stainless steel and aluminum materials
• Proficiency in MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), FCAW welding processes; experience with <LOCATION> welding preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and ASME codes & standards for fabrication projects
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement instruments
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques including sheet metal work, pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake operation, soldering, machining, and assembly
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of rigging operations and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Experience operating cranes or forklifts is a plus but not required; valid certifications are advantageous
• Strong safety awareness with adherence to industry safety standards on construction sites or manufacturing floors
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and quality workmanship

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
