Designer & Laser Programmer

Role Overview: You should have at least 1 year of experience in Laser Nesting offline software Programming, particularly with Metalix CAD/CAM Sheet Metal Software. Your role will involve having a good understanding and practical experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication Processes such as cutting and bending operations. You will be required to study and follow existing programs, create new programs as per standards, calculate time standards, and update details accordingly. Additionally, knowledge and experience in ERP for Routings and BOM creation will be essential. Familiarity with Workflow processing, including manufacturing sequence of events, work center selection, drawing review, and tolerance review, is also necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze production schedules and nesting priorities to develop CNC programs for manufacturing body component parts. - Use CNC programming software to convert CAD designs and operate CNC laser cutting and punching equipment. - Work with other process equipment like Fiber Laser cutting or bending machines. - Study and follow existing programs, create new programs as per standards, and update details accordingly. - Calculate time standards and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Familiarity with ERP for Routings and BOM creation. - Understand manufacturing sequence of events, work center selection, drawing review, and tolerance review. Qualifications Required: - At least 1 year of experience in Laser Nesting offline software Programming, particularly with Metalix CAD/CAM Sheet Metal Software. - Experience with AutoCAD and nesting software. - Self-starter, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.,
