Job Title: Senior Checker – Tekla Structures

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Checker proficient in Tekla Structures to join our dynamic structural steel detailing team. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of steel structures, connections, and fabrication practices, with the ability to ensure quality and accuracy in shop and erection drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and validate structural steel models and drawings generated using Tekla Structures.
• Review shop drawings, erection drawings, GA drawings, and connection details.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, AISC/BS/IS codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with modelers, engineers, and project managers for revisions and clarifications.
• Prepare and maintain checking reports, RFI logs, and revision documents.
• Mentor junior checkers and detailers, provide feedback and quality guidance.
• Conduct internal QA/QC checks before client submission.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in steel detailing, including 3+ years in checking role.
• Expertise in Tekla Structures software.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with international detailing standards (AISC, BS, IS).
• Exposure to PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) and industrial/commercial steel structures.
• Experience working on global projects (US, UK, GCC).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹51,578.69 - ₹65,487.49 per month
