Sr.Manager - AGM - API Production

*Candidate must handled multiple production blocks

Should be from B.E/B.Tech Chemical background knowledge.

Role & responsibilities

To lead and oversee the entire production operations of the API manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with cGMP, safety, quality, and productivity standards. The role focuses on optimizing production efficiency, managing teams, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring timely delivery of products as per business targets.

1. Production Planning & Execution

• Plan, schedule, and execute production activities as per monthly / weekly production plans.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor daily production progress and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks.

2. Process Management

• Ensure all API manufacturing processes are performed as per approved BMRs/BPRs and SOPs.
• Support process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D and Technology Transfer teams for new product scale-up and validation.

3. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure strict adherence to

  GMP, GLP, and safety standards

• Oversee documentation activities BMR, BPR, logbooks, deviation, change control, CAPA, etc.
• Participate in internal and external audits (Regulatory / Customer).

4. Team Management

• Lead and mentor production executives, officers, and operators.
• Conduct regular training on SOPs, EHS, and GMP practices.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with

  Quality Assurance, Maintenance, EHS, and Supply Chain

  teams for smooth plant operations.
• Support plant shutdown, preventive maintenance, and equipment qualification activities.
• Prepare and present monthly production performance reports to senior management.
