Sr.Engineer/ Engineer - Mechanical Design

As a Sr. Engineer/Engineer in Mechanical Design at GEA, you will play a crucial role in supporting internal global customers in executing engineering design projects. Your key responsibilities and tasks include: - Designing and drafting sheet metal components and plant layouts. - Completing high-quality design projects within the designated hourly budget. - Supporting the documentation of deliverables for various products within the given technology scope. - Understanding project tasks and evaluating required input from customers. - Proactively communicating any missing information, tools, or resources needed for task execution. - Creating 3D models and 2D drawings of General Arrangements (GA), Plant Layouts, and plant-related equipment. - Adhering to the established drawing/model review process within the team. - Taking full accountability for your own design drawings and models. - Generating equipment fabrication drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs). - Working on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), layouts, ducting, and other plant-related tasks. - Planning your work in alignment with the overall project schedule in consultation with the manager. - Effectively managing time across multiple tasks and providing progress updates to relevant stakeholders. Your profile should include: - Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years in mechanical design using various CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, etc. - Experience in FMCG, Dairy, Pharma will be an added advantage.
