SRE - Infrastructure Engineer

As a SRE - Infrastructure Engineer at Barclays, your role involves supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. You will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to revolutionize digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Have good knowledge and excellent hands-on experience in writing Ansible Playbooks and architectural and infrastructure knowledge of AAP Platform. - Possess good hands-on experience with Python as the primary programming language and excellent software engineering capabilities. - Demonstrate capabilities and skills in automating workflows and converting manual tasks into automated processes. - Be a great troubleshooter, demonstrate critical thinking, and showcase problem-solving abilities. - Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability, being able to identify gaps in monitoring and convert them into dashboard representations with automation around event-based triggers. - Have exposure and understanding of risk, controls, and change management. Qualifications Required: - Experience with Linux and Windows Servers. - Familiarity with Gitlab Workflow. - Knowledge of Docker and containers.
