Sr. Technical Manager - Java

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the customer to create a roadmap for the product & set up key milestones to be achieved by the team.

2. Create project plans and estimates, manage risks and providing status reports to the customer and internal stakeholders.

3. Implement critical software development processes to improve the quality of work.

4. Solve critical business problems by using latest tools & technologies or innovative architecture/solution.

5. Hire and build a distributed team committed to achieving high standards of design, scale and deliverables. We hire developers mainly from top 2% engineering colleges in India.

We are looking for someone with;

• 12+ years of experience in of designing, developing and testing applications, with minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Java, Spring MVC/Boot, Rest, RDBMS database design, and SQL Programming.
• Working knowledge in any one cloud (Ex: AWS, Azure), Scalable design, Linux ecosystem.
• Understanding of Software development process using Agile Scrum/Scrumban methodology, and the tools like Jira, and can set it up for her teams.
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes from code development to release, and comfortable to set it up for teams.
• Knowledge of one of the Frontend frameworks, NoSQL databases would be a plus.
• Experience of managing teams with 5-10 people.
• Strong People Management skills and ability to hire and develop talent.
• BE/BTech from one of top 100 engineering colleges.
