Sr Staff Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Develop new products and variants throughout the product lifecycle - Collaborate in cross-functional teams comprising hardware, firmware, test automation, and mechanical engineers - Specify, design, verify, and debug complex circuits for inverters - Conduct performance testing of products and sub-systems - Provide design support for cost reduction proposals, failure root-cause analysis, and alternative part qualification - Assist product compliance engineers in obtaining global certifications for products - Specify engineering requirements, develop test plans, and generate test reports - Offer technical mentoring to manufacturing and field application engineers - Mentor junior engineers and supervise lab work - Uphold technical excellence, accurate documentation, and scientific rigor - Provide advanced-level subject matter expertise Qualifications Required: - B.E. with 12+ years of experience outside of university or Masters with 10+ years of experience - Proven track record in developing electronic products from concept stage to market launch in a commercial setting - Extensive knowledge of circuit schematic, PCB layout, and simulation tools - Practical experience in in-depth bench testing, V&V testing, and debugging of hardware designs - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Some experience with Python, embedded software development, and working in a test automation environment Additional Company Details: Enphase Energy, with its innovative microinverter technology and commitment to sustainability, has established itself as one of the most successful and innovative clean energy companies globally.
