Job Description

You should have 5 to 8 years of experience in Horizontal form fill machines, Vertical form filling machines, or packaging machine design. In-depth knowledge of machine design calculations and concepts is essential for this role. You should be skilled in preparing 3D and 2D drawings using SolidWorks software. A good understanding of general tolerance, dimensioning practices, fits, and allowances is required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in making machines is necessary. Experience in using PDM/PLM software and understanding automation used in manufacturing/packaging for FMCG, Pharma, and consumer products is preferred. You should be able to design assemblies, structures, and units such as conveyors, pick-and-place systems, and machines independently. Familiarity with automation accessories and bought-outs like motors, servos, pneumatics, etc is expected. You should be an expert in designing automation systems and machines in collaboration with Automation/Controls engineers. The qualification required for this position is BE Mechanical.,
