About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Specialist in Product Management specializing in Custom Analytics and AI Solutions to join our Mastercard Data & Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the development and expansion of our data-driven product suite, supporting smarter decision-making and better outcomes for our clients. As a key contributor, you will work closely with engineering, design, sales, and regional teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative analytics products tailored to our customers needs. You will play a pivotal role in translating customer insights into scalable solutions, ensuring product-market fit, and driving adoption across multiple regions.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, with proven experience in developing B2B data analytics solutions. You will be responsible for supporting go-to-market strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and fostering a user-centric, data-driven culture. This position reports directly to the Director of Product Management and offers a collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape the future of Mastercards analytics offerings.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, particularly within data analytics, AI, or related fields, is required. A demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, develop scalable B2B solutions, and work effectively across cross-functional teams is essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.Preferred qualifications include experience working with external partners to co-develop solutions, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. A background in building and executing go-to-market strategies across multiple regions and markets will be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance the product portfolio of custom analytics, configured analytics, and derived products, shaping the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market trends and customer demands.
- Design and develop analytics products and solutions that enable smarter decisions and improved outcomes for clients, leveraging both in-house and third-party assets to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with regional and frontline teams to serve as a product expert, providing training, sales enablement materials, and ongoing support to drive product adoption.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners, ensuring compliance with Mastercard policies and maintaining high standards of quality and security.
- Implement and promote product management best practices throughout the product lifecycle, including Agile development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a user-centric, data-driven culture by engaging in regular Voice of the Customer activities, identifying friction points, and developing action plans to enhance user experience.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, functional software solutions that meet business needs efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate effectively across cultures and geographies, engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gain support and alignment for strategic initiatives.
- Drive knowledge sharing through documentation and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and repeatability across projects.
