Sr. Software Platform Engineer I

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at MetLife, you will play a crucial role in the digital and AI transformation journey, contributing to the development and maintenance of cloud native/modern software solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Adoption of Agile ways of working in the software delivery lifecycle and continuous learning of new methods and technology. - Hands-on technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology. - Detailed technical design and development of applications/platforms in collaboration with the Product owner. - Development using multiple technology stack capabilities (Front/Back End, API, Database Management, Hosting technologies, etc.). - Reviewing solution designs and related code. - Investigating and resolving production management incidents, problems, and service requests. - Implementing technology best practices, architecture, and technology stack including cloud, AI/Data, and other relevant emerging technology. **Candidate Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent. - **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in development using multiple technology stack capabilities to drive digital transformation in financial services or technology domain. Hands-on experience in developing applications using modern technology stack and patterns.
