Sr. Software Engineer - Web Platform, Digital Business

Role Overview: As a Sr. Software Engineer specializing in Web Platform for Digital Business in Bengaluru, you will be a crucial part of the team responsible for the development and upkeep of internal backend tools and dashboards. Your main focus will be on constructing and managing high-quality, user-friendly interfaces that empower the engineering and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architecture, development, and optimization of robust web platforms and internal tools. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable React/Next.js-based applications for internal tools and consumer-facing products. - Architect high-concurrency, low-latency, streaming-ready web platforms for OTT and media domains. - Integrate and maintain logging/monitoring systems to proactively track errors and performance. - Utilize AI tools to accelerate development and suggest adoption opportunities. - Work with RESTful APIs, API gateways, and backend teams to ensure clean data flow. - Write unit, integration, and e2e tests to maintain a clean and scalable codebase. - Contribute actively to sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives. - Drive efforts for technical SEO, improved Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization. Qualifications Required: - Proficient in web technologies including React, Next.js, Node-JS, and API Gateways. - Strong understanding of Redux, React Query, context APIs, and performance tuning techniques. - Good to have experience with video players like video.js, shaka-player, HLS.js, or dash.js for OTT platforms. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Datadog, New Relic, LogRocket, Grafana, etc. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies, API security, and performance profiling.
