Sr Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer in CAE, you will collaborate with both onshore and offshore team members to work on software design, development, and testing tasks. Your main focus will be on designing software with a component-based architecture to deliver customer-focused, robust, scalable, and reusable software components in a timely manner. - At least 5 years of hands-on development experience with large-scale commercial software is required - Expertise in designing, developing, and supporting DBMS systems is essential - Knowledge of different database systems, including object-oriented databases, is necessary - Excellence in C++ and algorithm design is expected - Strong Visual Studio debugging capabilities are required - Experience with Interface-based programming, parallel processing, thread safety, software architecture, and design is necessary - Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodology and code management systems like GIT and Perforce is expected - Experience developing on Windows and Linux platforms using tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, and VTune is required - A solid understanding of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) is necessary - Knowledge of automation tools and scripting, with a preference for experience with Python, will be beneficial A Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required, with a preference for candidates holding a PhD.
